Gimps come up short of projections, lose to Flying Squirrels, 127.84-82.22
There's no sugarcoating it, Gimps dropped the ball, at least according to projections, as Flying Squirrels secured a 127.84-82.22 victory. Gimps nabbed a 0.02-point lead on Thursday, but Flying Squirrels held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Tom Brady (341 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs) and Michael Thomas (10 Rec, 123 Rec Yds). Tyler Boyd (14.3 points) and James White (13.2) were the leaders for Gimps in the loss. Flying Squirrels (1-0) will look to notch another W against R0MPER*ST0MPERS, while Gimps (0-1) take on Sarah’s stars in an effort to develop some positive momentum.
While allowing only 3 points, surrendering 308 yards, and intercepting a pass against the Steelers, the Patriots defense scored 10 points this week. They scored 45.1% more than their 6.89-point projection in the 33-3 win. The Patriots defense ranks #10 among fantasy DEFs this season and will face the Dolphins next week.

Flying Squirrels
Nice job deploying a lineup that tallied nearly 128 points this past week. We did what we needed to do and took care of business. We should tip our cap to the GM of Gimps, take this W in stride, and continue on our way towards a fantasy title.
Gimps
Three wide receivers, two running backs, one tight end, zero touchdowns: The six starting offensive skill players on Gimps collectively gained a whopping 363 total yards. Not one of those players was able to find paydirt in Week 1.
