New Orleans Saints knock off Seattle Seahawks for third straight win in 53-16 rout

New Orleans Saints extended their win streak to three games with a convincing victory over Seattle Seahawks, cruising to a 53-16 win. It didn't take long to learn who would have the advantage in this one, as New Orleans Saints grabbed a 53-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind stellar showings from Drew Brees (23 points) and Wil Lutz (10). The Seattle Seahawks defense (28 Pts Allowed, 455 Yds Allowed, 2 Turnovers) and Jason Myers (2-2 FG, 39 long, 0-1 XP) did everything they could for Seattle Seahawks in defeat. This marks the first time this season New Orleans Saints have gotten the best of Seattle Seahawks, after falling 33-32 in their last matchup. New Orleans Saints (8-6) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs, while Seattle Seahawks (8-6) will attempt to bounce back and make a run of their own in the postseason.

Coach Talk

New Orleans Saints
Listen, New Orleans Saints, we applaud you on the confidence. It takes moxie to roll out a starter with negative points (Alvin Kamara) while still earning the win. All we ask is to please limit those shenanigans to the regular season. Try it in the playoffs and we're toast.
Seattle Seahawks
So, Seattle Seahawks, what'd your receiving crew do to get written out of their teams' game plans this week? Seeing only 12 total targets in Week 14, our four starting pass-catchers (three WR, one TE) clearly need to get on their QBs' good sides this week in practice.
