Cleveland Browns beat Seattle Seahawks in 40-23 rout

Despite identical records, Seattle Seahawks held a big season point advantage over Cleveland Browns coming into this one (378-297). But the trend wouldn't continue this week with Cleveland Browns rolling to a 40-23 win. It didn't take long to figure out who would lead the way in the matchup, as Cleveland Browns jumped out to a 21-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind standout efforts from Austin Seibert and the Buffalo Bills defense. Seibert made 2 of his 3 FG attempts for 11 points, while the Bills defense allowed only 3 points, surrendered 134 yards, and intercepted a pass (9 points). The Seattle Seahawks defense (10 points) and Tevin Coleman (6) led the way for Seattle Seahawks in defeat. Cleveland Browns (7-5) will look to keep it rolling against Hou Texans (GA), while Seattle Seahawks (7-5) take on Denver Broncos in an effort to get back on track.

Coach Talk

Cleveland Browns
Well, we do appreciate the confidence this past week, Cleveland Browns. It takes moxie to roll out a player with negative points (plus a zero-point player) while still earning the W. All we ask is to please limit that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the regular season. Try it in the postseason and we're toast.
Seattle Seahawks
So, Seattle Seahawks, did your pass-catchers talk bad about their quarterbacks or something? Seeing only 14 total targets this past week, our starting receiver crew (three WR, one TE) obviously need to get in their respective QBs' ears this week in practice.
