The Corporate Clowns defy projections, earn win against Smokin' Jays in 147.80-91.46 rout
The Corporate Clowns brought their A game and beat expectations, rolling to a 147.80-91.46 victory over Smokin' Jays, who fell short of projections. Smokin' Jays pulled out to a 7.60-point lead on Thursday, but it was all The Corporate Clowns after that. They were led by Mike Evans (12 Rec, 180 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Derrick Henry (63 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 36 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). Josh Jacobs (24 points) and Tyreek Hill (23.5) carried the flag for Smokin' Jays in defeat. The Corporate Clowns (3-6) will look to sustain their winning ways against Brian's Team, while Smokin' Jays (7-2) attempt to right the ship against The Air Raid.
The Cowboys defense (18 Pts Allowed, 271 Yds Allowed, 3 Turnovers) scored 18 points against the Giants in Week 9. Their scoring output more-than-doubled their 7.27-point projection and was much higher than their 7.57-point season scoring average. The Cowboys defense will face the Vikings next week.
