Hard Knockers find way to top Jumpin Jack in 141.4-99.4 rout despite falling short of predictions
Both teams were unable to rise to the occasion, but Hard Knockers did enough to get the best of Jumpin Jack, cruising to a 141.4-99.4 win. Jumpin Jack jumped out to a 33.8-point lead on Thursday behind 33.8 points from Carson Wentz (160 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 13 Rush Yds) and Zach Ertz (7 Rec, 65 Rec Yds). But it was all Hard Knockers after that. They were led by Christian McCaffrey (93 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 86 Rec Yds) and Mason Rudolph (229 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs). Hard Knockers (3-1) will look to build on their success against Dalton's Crew, while Jumpin Jack (2-2) attempt to get some positive momentum against Low Ballers.
Projected to score 4.67 points, Heyward more-than-doubled that amount by scoring 12 points as the Steelers beat the Bengals 27-3. He made 6 tackles and recorded 2.5 sacks to beat his projection by the second-highest percentage of any DT in the league this season. Heyward will battle the Ravens in Week 5.
Hard Knockers
Next week will feature two teams moving in different directions, as Hard Knockers (3-1) enter the matchup on a two-game winning streak, while their Week 5 opposition (Dalton's Crew, 2-2), have now dropped two straight. Hard Knockers might have to shuffle the deck a bit with Trey Flowers out on bye next week. Dalton's Crew won't have T.J. Hockenson. Over the last three weeks, Hard Knockers have put up 170.43 points per game, while Dalton's Crew have averaged only 133.63 per contest.
Jumpin Jack
The outlook doesn't immediately get much brighter for fifth-place Jumpin Jack, as they next have the distinct privilege of facing unbeaten Low Ballers in Week 5. Four weeks into the season, Jumpin Jack have tallied the fifth-most points in the league while Low Ballers (and their 175.39 points per game) are ranked second. Over the last three weeks, Jumpin Jack has put up 145.07 points per game, while Low Ballers has averaged 175.12 per contest.
