The Soulja fall short of projections, still manage to knock off Manager-less Team, 142.1-109.3

Despite failing to rise to the occasion and coming up short of projections, The Soulja earned a 142.1-109.3 victory over Manager-less Team. Manager-less Team leapt out to a 27.8-point lead on Thursday behind standout efforts from Kenny Golladay (21.8 points) and Marvin Jones Jr. (10). But The Soulja held the lead the rest of the way, powered by Ryan Tannehill, who passed for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns for 29.78 points, and Julian Edelman, who caught 6 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown (15.9 points). This marks the second time this season The Soulja have gotten the best of Manager-less Team, after winning 148.6-121.92 in their last matchup. The Soulja (8-5) will look to sustain their winning ways against Bert's Superb Team, while Manager-less Team (3-10) will attempt to get back in the win column against g-men.

Coach Talk

The Soulja
You know The Soulja, we're "glass half full" kind of coaches. While others may harp on the fact that our scoring output has decreased a bit lately, we'll choose to take the optimistic route. Averaging 169.25 points through Week 12, our crew has definitely proven that it's even stronger than the 142.1 we needed for this past week's win!
Manager-less Team
Unless Manager-less Team wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not seeing many chances" is not an excuse this time around. Our pass-catching corps (four WR, one TE) were targeted a whopping 27 times in Week 13. Those players might need to get some extra reps with the JUGS machine, considering they hauled in only 16 receptions.
