Nightmares narrowly earned a 157.25-153.90 victory to hand Boomtown Brawlers their third consecutive loss to open the season. It wasn't nearly as close as the final score indicates, as Nightmares led 148.25-111.70 heading into Sunday night. Boomtown Brawlers closed the gap behind Cooper Kupp (33.2 points) and the Cleveland Browns defense (9). Nightmares were led by Darren Waller, who caught 13 passes for 134 yards for 27.1 points, and Dalvin Cook, who racked up 143 yards from scrimmage and ran for a touchdown (24.3 points). Nightmares (2-1) will look to sustain their winning ways against FDC Chiefs, while Boomtown Brawlers (0-3) take on SECFOR Sixers in an effort to right the ship.
