Nightmares defy expectations, come back to knock off The Xtreme, 175.6-162.8
Nightmares outperformed their projected point total, coming from behind for a 175.6-162.8 victory over The Xtreme. Despite trailing 109.4-108.8 heading into Monday night, Nightmares roared back behind Drew Brees, who passed for 370 yards and 2 touchdowns for 28.5 points, and Josh Jacobs, who racked up 113 yards from scrimmage and ran for 2 touchdowns (24.3 points). Alvin Kamara (97 Rush Yds, 72 Rec Yds) and Amari Cooper (6 Rec, 106 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) led the way for The Xtreme in the loss. Nightmares (1-0) will look to sustain their momentum against Enforcers, while The Xtreme (0-1) try to right the ship against Vandals.
Projected to score 10.53 points, Brown more-than-doubled that amount by scoring 25.3 points as the Bills beat the Jets 17-16. He caught 7 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Nightmares this week. Next week, Brown will go up against the Giants.
