Vultures fall short of projections, lose to SAWTOOTHS in 155.90-80.80 rout

There's no sugarcoating it, Vultures underdelivered, at least compared to projections, as SAWTOOTHS rolled to a 155.90-80.80 victory. Vultures took a 1.40-point lead on Thursday, but it was all SAWTOOTHS after that. They were led by Mike Evans, who caught 12 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown for 36 points, and Josh Jacobs, who ran for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns (24 points). Amari Cooper (4 Rec, 80 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Daniel Jones (210 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 54 Rush Yds) were the top performers for Vultures in defeat. SAWTOOTHS (7-2) will look to keep it rolling against Hooligans, while Vultures (5-4) will face off against Mutinous Apes in an effort to right the ship.

Matchup Player of the Week

While catching 12 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown against the Seahawks, Evans scored 36 points this week. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 17.65-point projection and was much higher than his 19.8-point season scoring average. Evans ranks #17 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Cardinals next week.

Next Week Preview

Vultures
Coming up next week, Vultures (5-4, seventh-place) will try to right the ship against Mutinous Apes (1-8, 13th-place). Each side has players with byes next week, as Darren Fells, Rex Burkhead, the New England Patriots defense, Phillip Dorsett II, and DeSean Jackson are off for Vultures and Chris Conley and Sony Michel are out for Mutinous Apes.
SAWTOOTHS
Something's got to give in Week 10, as SAWTOOTHS (7-2) enter next week on a two-game winning streak, while their upcoming opponent (Hooligans, 5-4), have won three in a row. SAWTOOTHS will certainly miss the contributions of Tom Brady, who will be out on bye in Week 10. Hooligans will be without Carson Wentz and Darren Sproles. In terms of scoring production, these two teams have posted strikingly similar results recently. SAWTOOTHS have scored 137.78 points per game over the last three weeks, while Hooligans have averaged 139.72 per matchup over that same period.
