Brewmasters knock off Doughboys, 165.6-160.1
Brewmasters showed up and exceeded their projected point total, earning a 165.6-160.1 victory over Doughboys. Doughboys took a 9.0-point lead on Thursday, but Brewmasters held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Dalvin Cook, who ran for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns for 26 points, and Matt Ryan, who passed for 304 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 24 yards (25.6 points). Patrick Mahomes (378 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs) and Alvin Kamara (97 Rush Yds, 72 Rec Yds) led the charge for Doughboys in the loss. Brewmasters (1-0) will look to build on their success against WarEagle, while Doughboys (0-1) try to get back on track against War Pony.
Against the Jets in Week 1, Brown scored 25.3 points to more-than-double his 10.53-point projection. He caught 7 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Brewmasters this week. In Week 2, Brown and the Bills will play the Giants.
