Despite top scorer Brees, Naked Bootlegs fall to Bitterness, 208.40-177.10
Naked Bootlegs had the top scorer in the matchup with QB Drew Brees posting 39.35 points, the fourth-highest total in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to defeat Bitterness, who secured a 208.40-177.10 win. Naked Bootlegs grabbed a 21.85-point lead early Sunday afternoon, but Bitterness held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Julio Jones, who caught 13 passes for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns for 38.4 points, and Chris Carson, who ran for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns (26.7 points). Drew Brees (307 Pass Yds, 4 Pass TDs) and Carson Wentz (266 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs) led the way for Naked Bootlegs in the loss. This marks the second time this season Bitterness have gotten the best of Naked Bootlegs, after winning 235.8-188.45 in their last matchup. Bitterness will look to clinch the championship next week, while Naked Bootlegs seek to rebound and finish the season with a win in the 3rd Place game.
In a 29-22 win over the 49ers, Jones scored 38.4 points to more-than-double his 17.49-point projection. He caught 13 passes for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Bitterness this week. Jones will battle the Jaguars in Week 16.

Sunday Late

Monday

Bitterness
Well, we do appreciate the confidence this past week, Bitterness. Starting a starter with negative points (the Los Angeles Rams defense) while still earning the win... that's borderline cocky.
Naked Bootlegs
"Not seeing enough chances" can't be an excuse this week for Naked Bootlegs. Our pass-catching corps (four WR and one TE) collectively got a grand total of 26 targets in Week 15. With just 14 total catches, that group may be showing signs of chemistry issues.
