Centreviews fall short of projections, still manage to defeat Diggin Heat in 92.55-88.50 battle
There's no sugarcoating it, Centreviews underdelivered, at least compared to projections. Still, they squeaked by for a 92.55-88.50 win over Diggin Heat. Diggin Heat had a chance to come from behind on Monday night, but they came up short. Centreviews led 63.70-53.40 after Sunday's action and held on for the win despite a combined 35.1 points from three players on Monday night for Diggin Heat. Centreviews were led by Aaron Rodgers (283 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 10 Rush Yds) and Brett Maher (3-4 FG, 62 long, 1-1 XP). Centreviews (1-5) will look to keep it rolling against Treasure Hunters, while Diggin Heat (4-2) will try to get back on track against Dome Patrollers.
Cook overachieved for the second time this season, scoring 12.7 points against his 6.45-point projection. During a 13-6 win over the Jaguars, he caught 3 passes for 37 yards and a touchdown. Cook will face the Bears next week.
Diggin Heat
Two teams with identical 4-2 records, fifth-place Diggin Heat will now get a date with fourth-place Dome Patrollers in Week 7. Diggin Heat is surely going to miss the production of Jameis Winston, who will be out on bye in Week 7. Dome Patrollers will be without Christian McCaffrey and O.J. Howard.
