Nebraska Corn Bores overcome starter's goose egg, knock off Wisner Cow Tippers, 313.15-285.55
Despite a goose egg from Alshon Jeffery, Nebraska Corn Bores were able to persevere and earn the victory, securing a 313.15-285.55 win over Wisner Cow Tippers. Nebraska Corn Bores never trailed in this one after taking a 10.20-point lead on Thursday behind Luke Kuechly (30 points). Carson Wentz (47.85 points) and Julio Jones (40.6) did their part for Wisner Cow Tippers in the loss. Nebraska Corn Bores (2-0) will look to notch another W against Round Rock Kitty, while Wisner Cow Tippers (0-2) will try to develop some positive momentum against Rhode Island Reds.
While making 17 tackles against the Buccaneers, Kuechly scored 30 points this week. He scored 73.5% more than his 17.29-point projection in the 20-14 loss. Kuechly ranks #1 among fantasy LBs this season and will face the Cardinals next week.

Nebraska Corn Bores
Football is all about spotting (and exploiting) the mismatches. Our squad found one this past week and literally doubled up Wisner Cow Tippers at the quarterback position (153.35 points to 70.15).
Wisner Cow Tippers
Unless Wisner Cow Tippers wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing many opportunities" is definitely not a viable excuse this week. As a group, our five pass-catchers (four WR and one TE) were targeted a healthy 45 times in Week 2. Timing and chemistry appear to be issues as that group tallied only 27 receptions.
