Team Estrogen fall short of predictions, lose to GiantSupreme... in 142.75-112.60 rout
There's no way around it, Team Estrogen underperformed, at least based on projections, as GiantSupreme... cruised to a 142.75-112.60 victory. GiantSupreme... got out to an early 4.00-point lead on Thursday. Team Estrogen came back to take the lead during the early round of games on Sunday, powered by Chris Carson (26.7 points) and Chris Godwin (17.1). Not to be deterred, GiantSupreme... pulled it together later that afternoon, as Ezekiel Elliott (31 points) and George Kittle (26.4) put them back ahead once and for all. This marks the first time this season GiantSupreme... have knocked off Team Estrogen, after falling 157-119.8 in their last matchup. GiantSupreme... will look to not lose that winning feeling in the Championship next week, while Team Estrogen seek to rebound and finish the season with a win in the 3rd Place game.
While racking up 160 yards from scrimmage and running for 2 touchdowns against the Rams, Elliott registered 31 points this week. His scoring output was 62.6% more than his 19.07-point projection and was much higher than his 17.93-point season scoring average. Elliott ranks #15 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Eagles next week.
Sunday Early
Both teams had players with highlight-reel plays early Sunday, but it was Team Estrogen who emerged with the lead, 55.70-47.60. For GiantSupreme..., Aaron Jones had a 21-yard touchdown run. Chris Godwin made the highlight reel for Team Estrogen with a 51-yard catch.
Sunday Late
Nick Chubb had a 33-yard touchdown run for Team Estrogen, who trailed 142.75-102.60 after the late afternoon slate.
GiantSupreme...
Deploying a starting crew that produced 142.75 points this past week... we consider that to be a job done right.
Team Estrogen
Well, we certainly can't complain about a lack of opportunities this week, can we? Our pass-catching corps (three WR, one TE) were targeted a grand total of 22 times in Week 15. Those players should participate in some additional timing drills with their QBs, considering they notched just 12 receptions.
