CardinalFan fall short of predictions, succumb to Red Alice in 90.10-52.42 rout

There's no way around it, CardinalFan didn't do their job, at least according to projections, as Red Alice cruised to a 90.10-52.42 victory. Red Alice got out to an early 0.13-point lead on Thursday. CardinalFan came back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by Kareem Hunt (10.97 points) and Jarvis Landry (7.6). Unphased, Red Alice pulled it together later that afternoon, as the Los Angeles Rams defense (18 points) and Philip Rivers (15.3) put them back in the lead for good. Red Alice (8-5) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs. CardinalFan will be home for the playoffs, finishing the season at 4-9.

Inside the Matchup

Matchup Player of the Week

While allowing only 7 points, surrendering 198 yards, and intercepting a pass against the Cardinals, the Rams defense scored 18 points this week. Their scoring output more-than-doubled their 6.99-point projection and was much higher than their 8.92-point season scoring average. The Rams defense ranks #89 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Seahawks next week.

Coach Talk

Red Alice
Yo, Red Alice, you put the rest of the league on notice with this dominant effort. Not only did you win by 37.68 points, you also climbed from seventh place to fourth in the league standings... directly into the thick of the playoff hunt
CardinalFan
Your starting QB threw one interception and not a single touchdown? I suppose we're presented with a fork in the road here: Were the Buccaneers actually that great defending the pass, or did Nick Foles seem rattled back there in the pocket? You'll need to decide one way or the other, CardinalFan, as you set your lineup in Week 14 and beyond!
