Despite top scorer Jackson, Sledgehammers fall to Caribbean Bombers, 137-130

Sledgehammers had the premier scorer in the league this week with QB Lamar Jackson posting 55 points, but it wasn't enough to topple Caribbean Bombers, who earned a 137-130 victory. Caribbean Bombers earned a 28-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind a combined 70 points from Drew Brees (311 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs) and Odell Beckham Jr. (6 Rec, 84 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and never looked back. Lamar Jackson (55 points) and Tyler Boyd (21) were the leading scorers for Sledgehammers in the loss. This marks the first time this season Caribbean Bombers have knocked off Sledgehammers, after falling 145-115 in their last matchup. Caribbean Bombers (6-6) will look to add to their success against Cedric's TPSer's, while Sledgehammers (9-3) try to develop some positive momentum against Warriors of Angels.
