Despite top scorer Mahomes, Caribbean Bombers fall to Thunderstorm, 148-139
Caribbean Bombers had the premier scorer in the matchup with QB Patrick Mahomes posting 53 points, the second-highest total in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to vanquish Thunderstorm, who came back to earn a 148-139 win. Trailing 128-126 heading into Monday night, Thunderstorm rallied behind Michael Thomas (22 points). Patrick Mahomes (378 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs) and Larry Fitzgerald (8 Rec, 113 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) did their part for Caribbean Bombers in defeat. Thunderstorm (1-0) will look to build on their success against Cedric's TPSer's, while Caribbean Bombers (0-1) attempt to earn their first W against MARTIANS.
Ekeler (58 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 96 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) scored 38 points against the Colts in Week 1. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 14.32-point projection. Ekeler will face the Lions next week.

Thunderstorm
This sport is all about exploiting the mismatches. Fueled by great performances by Austin Ekeler and Damien Williams, our team definitely made that a point of emphasis this past week. We thoroughly outscored Caribbean Bombers at running back (55 points to 22). Ekeler had 154 total yards and three TDs, while Williams logged 65 yards.
Caribbean Bombers
Fortunately, Caribbean Bombers, this week's problem isn't exactly advanced calculus. Starting Michael Badgley in a tough fantasy matchup... let's aim to play with a full deck of cards next time.
