TJKP lose to Arians's Hats, 97.06-85.56
There's no sugarcoating it, TJKP didn't do their job, at least based on projections, as Arians's Hats earned a 97.06-85.56 victory. TJKP earned a 1.64-point lead early Sunday afternoon, but Arians's Hats held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Alvin Kamara, who racked up 161 yards from scrimmage and scored 2 touchdowns for 28.1 points, and Kirk Cousins, who passed for 174 yards and a touchdown and ran for 16 yards (12.56 points). Jared Goff (16.16 points) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (14.1) did everything they could for TJKP in the loss. Arians's Hats (1-2) will look to sustain their winning ways against Dust N' Bones, while TJKP (1-2) face off against Fail of the Draft in an effort to right the ship.
While racking up 161 yards from scrimmage and scoring 2 touchdowns against the Seahawks, Kamara tallied 28.1 points this week. He nearly doubled his 14.38-point projection and overachieved for the first time this season. Kamara ranks #16 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Cowboys next week.
Sunday Early
Kirk Cousins had a 35-yard touchdown pass for Arians's Hats, who trailed 43.90-42.26 after the early action.
Sunday Late
There were players with big-time plays on both teams on Sunday afternoon, but after all the points were tallied, Arians's Hats owned a 92.76-69.40 lead. For Arians's Hats, Alvin Kamara had a 29-yard touchdown catch. JuJu Smith-Schuster made the highlight reel for TJKP with a 76-yard touchdown catch.
Arians's Hats
Way to shrug off that two-game losing skid, Arians's Hats! Every fantasy team is sure to be faced with adversity somewhere along the way... keep at it and remember that this season is far from over.
TJKP
"Not getting enough looks" really isn't an excuse this week for TJKP. As a group, our four pass-catchers (three WR and one TE) collectively got a hearty 25 targets in Week 3. With only 13 total catches, that group may have some chemistry issues.
