Evangelion hand Volt Blitz fifth straight loss, 73-60

Evangelion earned a 73-60 victory to hand Volt Blitz their fifth consecutive loss. Evangelion took a 15-point lead on Thursday behind outstanding performances from Marvin Jones Jr. (3 Rec, 40 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Randall Cobb (3 Rec, 53 Rec Yds) and never looked back. Ryan Fitzpatrick (26 points) and Todd Gurley II (17) led the charge for Volt Blitz in the loss. Evangelion (9-4) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs. Volt Blitz will be home for the playoffs, finishing the season at 4-9.
