RDay13 hand Volt Blitz fourth straight loss, 100-84
RDay13 earned a 100-84 win to hand Volt Blitz their fourth consecutive loss. Volt Blitz jumped out to a 33-point lead on Thursday behind outstanding performances from the New England Patriots defense, who allowed 14 points, surrendered 213 yards, and forced 4 turnovers for 27 points, and Sony Michel, who racked up 113 yards from scrimmage (10 points). But RDay13 held the lead the rest of the way, powered by Deshaun Watson (280 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 42 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) and the Denver Broncos defense (0 Pts Allowed, 204 Yds Allowed, 3 Turnovers). RDay13 (5-1) will look to sustain their winning ways against Evangelion, while Volt Blitz (2-4) meet Howling Werebeast's in an effort to develop some positive momentum.
The Broncos defense (0 Pts Allowed, 204 Yds Allowed, 3 Turnovers) scored 23 points against the Titans in Week 6. Their scoring output more-than-doubled their 8.23-point projection and was much higher than their 6.83-point season scoring average. The Broncos defense will face the Chiefs next week.
