Back-and-forth battle ends with KGG FB coming back to beat Butler Jets in 71-70 battle
What a battle! After a back-and-forth matchup featuring three lead changes, KGG FB earned a come-from-behind victory over Butler Jets, staging an impressive comeback for a 71-70 win. KGG FB trailed 64-41 heading into Monday night, but the squad came storming back behind Darius Slayton, who caught 5 passes for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns for 30 points. Dak Prescott (334 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD) and Cooper Kupp (4 Rec, 45 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) were the leaders for Butler Jets in the loss. This marks the second time this season KGG FB have knocked off Butler Jets, after winning 87-62 in their last matchup. KGG FB improve to 4-10 for the season, while Butler Jets fall to 6-8.
Slayton caught 5 passes for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Giants lost to the Eagles 23-17. In doing so, he put up 30 points and scored more than 9 times his scoring projection, the highest percent increase of any player in the league this season. Next week, Slayton will square off against the Dolphins.
