Coach Talk

Peoria Hurricanes
Creating mismatches is a huge component to winning in football. Thanks to good numbers out of the backfield, our crew certainly made that a point of emphasis this past week. We nearly tripled Boom in the Endzone at running back (39 points to 14). With 166 total yards and three TDs, Christian McCaffrey did most of the damage, while Sony Michel sprinkled in some extra goodness with 30 yards.
Boom in the Endzone
"Not getting enough looks" can't be a viable excuse this week for Boom in the Endzone. Our four pass-catchers (three WR and one TE) were targeted a grand total of 26 times in Week 9. With only 14 total receptions, that group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
