Bob's Big Blue fall short of expectations, lose to Laying the Smackdown in 154.88-107.46 rout

Bob's Big Blue were unable to rise to the occasion, as Laying the Smackdown cruised to a 154.88-107.46 victory. Laying the Smackdown got out to an early 6.00-point lead on Thursday. Bob's Big Blue came back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by Carson Wentz (28.2 points) and Aaron Jones (17.1). Unphased, Laying the Smackdown made a run later that night, as James Washington (11.53 points) put them back in the lead once and for all. Laying the Smackdown will look to keep winning in the Championship next week, while Bob's Big Blue seek to rebound and lock up 3rd Place.

Coach Talk

Laying the Smackdown
A big key to success in football is taking advantage of the mismatches. Thanks to some stellar yardage production from our running backs, our team created a noticeable disparity this week. Our three backfield starters recorded 121 more yards from scrimmage than the RBs on Bob's Big Blue (196 total yards to 75), and we wound up doubling up them at the position (44.73 points to 20.87).
Bob's Big Blue
Unless Bob's Big Blue wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing enough looks" doesn't fly as an excuse this time around. As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR, one TE) were targeted a healthy 18 times in Week 15. Chemistry could be the primary problem, as that group tallied just 11 catches.
