Coach Talk

Double Tap Kap
Hey, football is all about creating mismatches, right? Fueled by solid performances by Christian McCaffrey and Austin Ekeler, our team certainly made that a point of emphasis this past week. We doubled Black Hyenas up at running back (86 points to 40). McCaffrey had 209 total yards and two TDs, while Ekeler logged 154 yards and three scores.
Black Hyenas
Unless Black Hyenas wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing many chances" cannot be an excuse this time around. As a group, our pass-catching corps (two WR, one TE) were targeted a healthy 27 times in Week 1. Chemistry could be the primary problem, as that group reeled in just 16 balls.
