Despite top scorer the Steelers defense, THE CIRCLE fall to King Cobras, 186-171
THE CIRCLE had the No. 1 scorer in the matchup with DEF the Pittsburgh Steelers defense racking up 43 points, the fifth-highest total in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to overcome King Cobras, who emerged victorious with a 186-171 victory. THE CIRCLE took a 42-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind stellar efforts from the Pittsburgh Steelers defense, who allowed only 10 points, surrendered 244 yards, and forced 2 fumbles for 43 points, and Baker Mayfield, who passed for 327 yards and 3 touchdowns (35 points). But King Cobras held the lead the rest of the way, powered by Ryan Tannehill (259 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 40 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) and Sam Darnold (315 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 16 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD). This marks the first time this season King Cobras have taken down THE CIRCLE, after falling 258-190 in their last matchup. King Cobras improve to 5-7 on the season, while THE CIRCLE fall to 6-6.
Tannehill (259 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 40 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) scored 38 points in a 42-20 win over the Jaguars in Week 12. His scoring output was 84.8% more than his 20.56-point projection and was much higher than his 24-point season scoring average. Tannehill ranks #70 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Colts next week.

Sunday Late

Sunday Night

King Cobras
Hey, we'll definitely take the win, King Cobras! Having said that, if we want to take our performance to the next level, then here's one area where we can improve. Our running backs were soundly outplayed by the opposition. Brian Hill (27 total yards, no TDs) and Alvin Kamara (102 yards, no TDs) combined for only 23 points in Week 12. Tarik Cohen and Leonard Fournette doubled us up with a score of 47. Let's persuade the offensive coordinator to get some more touches in Week 13!
THE CIRCLE
Derek Carr tossed one interception and not a single touchdown? It may be that thankful time of year, but we're having a lot of trouble being grateful for that sort of display.
