Ridley Me This come up short of projections, lose to Chubby Chasers in 118.2-95.4 rout
There's no way around it, Ridley Me This dropped the ball, at least based on projections, as Chubby Chasers cruised to a 118.2-95.4 win. It didn't take long to figure out who would have the advantage in this matchup, as Chubby Chasers jumped out to a 58.2-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind 58.2 points from Nick Chubb (165 Rush Yds, 3 Rush TDs, 18 Rec Yds) and Philip Rivers (310 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs). Jameis Winston (30.3 points) and Mike Evans (16.9) did their part for Ridley Me This in defeat. Chubby Chasers (1-3) will look to sustain their winning ways against Ran out of Luck, while Ridley Me This (2-2) try to get back on track against Too Many Cooks.
Chubb was one of three starters to overachieve for Chubby Chasers this week. He scored 37.8 points (165 Rush Yds, 3 Rush TDs, 18 Rec Yds) in a 40-25 win over the Ravens to more-than-double his 14.35-point projection. Chubb ranks #12 among all fantasy players this season and will face the 49ers next week.
Chubby Chasers
Well, we do applaud the confidence this past week, Chubby Chasers. It takes real moxie to play a starter with negative points (the Baltimore Ravens defense) while still getting a W. All we ask is to please limit those shenanigans to the early regular season. Try it in the playoffs and we're toast.
Ridley Me This
Unless Ridley Me This wants to go full diva-mode, then "not getting many chances" isn't really a viable excuse this week. As a group, our five pass-catchers (three WR, two TE) were targeted a grand total of 32 times in Week 4. Timing and chemistry appear to be issues as that group reeled in just 19 balls.
