Despite top scorer Elliott, Adi's Team fall to Tic - Boo, 463.58-395.25
Adi's Team had the highest scorer in the matchup with RB Ezekiel Elliott posting 62.03 points, the 10th-best total in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to overcome Tic - Boo, who earned a 463.58-395.25 win. Tic - Boo earned an early 90.17-point lead on Thursday. Adi's Team bounced back to take the lead early Sunday, powered by Aaron Rodgers (54.72 points) and Carson Wentz (53.4). Not to be deterred, Tic - Boo rallied later that afternoon, as Darren Waller (42 points) and the Kansas City Chiefs defense (24.53) put them back in the lead for good. This marks the first time this season Tic - Boo have beaten Adi's Team, after falling 470.85-420.3 in their last matchup. Tic - Boo (6-7) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs, while Adi's Team (7-6) will attempt to bounce back and make a run of their own in the postseason.
Golladay overachieved for the seventh time this season, scoring 63.6 points against his 25.17-point projection. During a 24-20 loss to the Bears, he caught 4 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown. Golladay ranks #38 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Vikings next week.
Thursday
Both teams had players with big-time plays on Thursday, after which Tic - Boo became the proud owner of a 261.67-171.50 lead. David Blough teamed up with Kenny Golladay for a 75-yard touchdown pass for Tic - Boo. Cole Beasley made the highlight reel for Adi's Team with a 25-yard touchdown catch.
Sunday Early
Aaron Rodgers had a 37-yard touchdown pass and a 43-yard pass for Adi's Team, while Jimmy Garoppolo had a 33-yard touchdown pass, contributing to a 378.45-328.62 lead for Adi's Team.
Tic - Boo
Kudos to you, Tic - Boo. Assembling a lineup that won by over 68 points this past week. We should tip our cap to the GM of Adi's Team, take this win in stride, and continue our march towards a fantasy championship.
Adi's Team
Unless Adi's Team wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not seeing enough looks" is not an excuse this week. As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR, one TE) combined to receive a grand total of 29 targets in Week 13. With only 17 total receptions, that group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
