Disnerds succumb to Evil Clowns in 118.05-70.45 rout
There's no easy way to say it, Disnerds didn't do their job, at least according to projections, as Evil Clowns rolled to a 118.05-70.45 victory. It didn't take long to figure out who would lead the way in this matchup, as Evil Clowns leapt out to a 30.75-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind a combined 44.5 points from Chris Carson (133 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) and Tyreek Hill (5 Rec, 67 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs). Deshaun Watson (23.35 points) and Cooper Kupp (10.1) were the top scorers for Disnerds in defeat. This marks the second time this season Evil Clowns have beaten Disnerds, after winning 112.2-93.4 in their last matchup. Evil Clowns improve to 7-8 for the season, while Disnerds fall to 5-10.
Carson overachieved for the eighth time this season, scoring 25.7 points against his 14.94-point projection. In a 30-24 win over the Panthers, he ran for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns. Carson ranks #32 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Cardinals next week.
Sunday Early
There were players with big-time moments on both teams early Sunday, but it was Evil Clowns who grabbed the lead, 73.60-42.85. For Evil Clowns, Tyreek Hill had a 41-yard touchdown catch. Joey Slye made the highlight reel for Disnerds with a 52-yard field goal.
Monday
Drew Brees had a 28-yard touchdown pass and a 21-yard touchdown pass for Evil Clowns on Monday night, helping to increase the margin of victory for the team.
Evil Clowns
Hey, this sport is all about taking advantage of the mismatches. We really took that to heart this week by tripling Disnerds at the wide receiver position (32.6 points to 10.7).
Disnerds
There's a decent chance that Disnerds may be a better talent scout in real football than in fantasy. Seeing just nine targets as a group in Week 15, their three wide receivers apparently spent most of their games blocking downfield and running decoy routes.
