Book of Eli climb into top spot in 122.0-75.7 rout

Book of Eli ascended to the top of the standings in Player's Club with an easy win over The Things, rolling to a 122.0-75.7 victory. This one was over almost as soon as it started, as Book of Eli jumped out to a 28.7-point lead on Thursday behind impressive performances from Ezekiel Elliott and Marvin Jones Jr.. Elliott racked up 137 yards from scrimmage for 17.2 points, while Jones Jr. caught 3 passes for 40 yards and a touchdown (11.5 points). The Los Angeles Rams defense (24 points) and Dede Westbrook (16.5) carried the flag for The Things in defeat. This marks the second time this season Book of Eli have beaten The Things, after winning 114.1-106.08 in their last matchup. Book of Eli (9-4) have now won five straight and will look to keep it rolling against Kelly's Kanines. The Things (2-11) try to right the ship against illegal ALIENs.
