Pop's come up short of projections, succumb to Skins on the Warpath in 100-75 rout
Pop's were unable to rise to the occasion, as Skins on the Warpath cruised to a 100-75 win. Pop's got out to a 2-point lead on Thursday, but it was all Skins on the Warpath after that. They were led by Russell Wilson (300 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 22 Rush Yds) and Wil Lutz (3-3 FG, 52 long). Kerryon Johnson (14 points) and Tyler Boyd (12) were the leaders for Pop's in defeat. Skins on the Warpath (1-1) will look to build on their success against WindyCity Rebels, while Pop's (1-1) attempt to get back on track against Tayda's Tots.
The Rams defense was one of five starters to overachieve for Skins on the Warpath this week. They scored 11 points (9 Pts Allowed, 244 Yds Allowed, 1 Turnovers) in a 27-9 win over the Saints to nearly double their 5.94-point projection. The Rams defense ranks #7 among fantasy DEFs this season and will face the Browns next week.
