Pop's lose to EastRock in 107-53 rout

Pop's were unable to bring their A game, coming up short of projections, as EastRock rolled to a 107-53 victory. Pop's got out to a 9-point lead early Sunday afternoon, but it was all EastRock after that. They were led by Lamar Jackson, who passed for 163 yards , ran for 61 yards and scored 3 touchdowns for 30 points, and the Dallas Cowboys defense, who allowed 18 points, surrendered 271 yards, and forced 3 turnovers (21 points). Daniel Jones (14 points) and DeAndre Hopkins (10) did their part for Pop's in defeat. EastRock (5-4) will look to keep it rolling against Skins on the Warpath, while Pop's (5-4) face off against Mushroom Capital in an effort to generate some positive momentum.

Coach Talk

EastRock
Hey, finding mismatches is the key to football, right? Not only did we double up Pop's at WR (28 points to 14), we also doubled them at QB (30 points to 14).
Pop's
Pop's will find it tough to complain about lack of opportunity this past week. Our six pass-catchers (four WR and two TE) were targeted a respectable 38 times in Week 9. Chemistry could be the primary issue, as that group hauled in just 22 receptions.
