Russell's Team smirk at projections, earn win over LIL PENNY in 84-41 rout
Russell's Team outperformed expectations, cruising to an 84-41 victory over LIL PENNY, who fell short of projections. The matchup was over before it really even started, as Russell's Team nabbed a 23-point lead on Thursday behind 16 points from Marquise Brown (4 Rec, 45 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Mark Andrews (4 Rec, 52 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). Aaron Rodgers (15 points) and Todd Gurley II (15) carried the flag for LIL PENNY in defeat. Identifying mismatches is a big key to success in football. Thanks to a thrilling performance by Drew Brees, we doubled up LIL PENNY at the quarterback position this past week (36 points to 15). Brees was tremendous in a blowout win over the Colts, going 29-of-30 for 307 yards and four passing TDs.
LIL PENNY
Hey, LIL PENNY, what did your receiving crew do to annoy their quarterbacks this week? Accumulating only nine targets as a group in Week 15, our three starting pass-catchers (two WR, one TE) clearly need to get the attention of their respective signal-callers this week in practice.
