Swizzle Stix lose to Redskin Mark 6, 3,343-2,607
There's no easy way to put it, Swizzle Stix underperformed, at least compared to projections, as Redskin Mark 6 secured a 3,343-2,607 win. Swizzle Stix grabbed a 360-point lead on Thursday, but Redskin Mark 6 held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Andy Dalton (311 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs) and Jamie Collins Sr. (5 Tackles, 2 Ints). Philip Rivers (293 Pass Yds, 12 Rush Yds) and Luke Kuechly (17 Tackles) led the charge for Swizzle Stix in the loss. Redskin Mark 6 (2-0) will look to keep it rolling against Team Kanada, while Swizzle Stix (0-2) face off against Ghetto Elks in an effort to generate some positive momentum.
Collins Sr. (5 Tackles, 2 Ints) scored 705 points against the Dolphins in Week 2. His scoring output crushed his 99.58-point projection. Collins Sr. ranks #1 among fantasy LBs this season and will face the Jets next week.
Sunday Early
There were several players with big-time moments for both teams early Sunday, but after the results were tallied, Redskin Mark 6 emerged with a 3,178-2,161 lead. Andy Dalton had a 66-yard touchdown pass and a 47-yard pass for Redskin Mark 6, while Josh Allen had a 51-yard pass. Meanwhile, Philip Rivers had a 47-yard pass for Swizzle Stix, while John Ross III had a 66-yard touchdown catch.
Redskin Mark 6
Hey, the key to football is creating mismatches, right? Our team took that to heart this past week and doubled up Swizzle Stix at the quarterback position (1,400 points to 636).
Swizzle Stix
Unless Swizzle Stix wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing enough opportunities" is definitely not an excuse this week. Our pass-catching corps (four WR and one TE) were targeted a grand total of 21 times in Week 2. Chemistry could be a problem, as that group hauled in just 11 catches.
