Steel Falcons fall short of predictions, lose to The Horde in 120-96 rout

There's no easy way to say it, Steel Falcons didn't do their job, at least compared to projections, as The Horde cruised to a 120-96 victory. Steel Falcons took the first lead in the matchup on Sunday afternoon, but it was all The Horde after that. They were led by Josh Allen (23 points) and Cooper Kupp (23). Philip Rivers (23 points) and Julio Jones (19) led the charge for Steel Falcons in the loss. The Horde (2-1) will look to maintain their winning ways against Emperor Pelicans, while Steel Falcons (1-2) attempt to get back on track against Win some lose ton.

There's not much good to say about Steel Falcons this week. Maybe they'll get their act together, and we'll see something different next week!

Coach Talk

The Horde
Wow, The Horde, you really made a statement to your leaguemates with this shellacking. Not only did you win by 24 points, you also jumped up from seventh place to fourth in the league standings!
Steel Falcons
Don't get too distraught, Steel Falcons! You can take solace in the fact that your generosity this week did not go unnoticed. It takes a true winner to help someone like The Horde succeed... and when the time comes, perhaps they'll return the favor by going Kicker-Defense in the first two rounds of the 2020 draft (...something like that).
