Unstoppable succumb to Diddy, 96.40-76.42
There's no easy way to say it, Unstoppable didn't do their job, at least according to projections, as Diddy earned a 96.40-76.42 victory. Diddy jumped out to a 47.28-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind 50.4 points from Christian McCaffrey (128 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 81 Rec Yds) and Delanie Walker (5 Rec, 55 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) and never looked back. David Johnson (19.7 points) and Kirk Cousins (14.32) were the leading performers for Unstoppable in the loss. Diddy improve to 1-0 on the season, while Unstoppable fall to 0-1.
Walker scored 17.5 points in a 43-13 win over the Browns to more-than-double his 6.43-point projection. He caught 5 passes for 55 yards and 2 touchdowns to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Diddy this week. In Week 2, Walker and the Titans will square off against the Colts.
Diddy
Nice job deploying a lineup that won by nearly 20 points this past week. We consider that to be a job done right. Let's tip our cap to the GM of Unstoppable, take this win in stride, and continue marching forward to the Hiawatha League of Champions title.
Unstoppable
Unless Unstoppable wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing many chances" is not a reasonable excuse this time around. As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR and one TE) were targeted a respectable 17 times in Week 1. With only 10 total catches, that group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
