DITKA parlayed a solid draft slot (No. 3 overall) into a modest performance. After picking up multiple Panthers in the early rounds (Christian McCaffrey and D.J. Moore), DITKA are projected to finish 7-6 (1,584 points), which would place them 4th in Hiawatha Elite League.

  • Zach Ertz

Biggest Steal: DITKA scored an early value in choosing Ertz in the 4th round, about 19 spots later than his ADP of 27. Following a season in which he caught 116 balls for 1,163 yards and 8 TDs, totaling 164 fantasy points, Ertz is projected to score 160 fantasy points with the Eagles. That makes him a valuable No. 1 TE for this squad.

  • D.J. Moore

Going out on a Limb: Are you in a sharing mood? We'd love to know what prompted you to draft Moore in the 5th round, about 26 spots earlier than his ADP of 77. You might be onto something, though. Projected to score 149 fantasy points this season with the Panthers, he seems set to top his rookie year when he racked up 55 receptions for 788 yards and 2 TDs to post 102 fantasy points. According to projections, Moore will slot in as the No. 1 WR for DITKA to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • DITKA face a tough task in Week 10 when they have four players on a bye (Zach Ertz, Lamar Miller, Stephen Gostkowski, and Denver). On the bright side, your Week 10 opponent -- XFL 2.0 (Matt) -- will also be facing their worst bye week with seven players getting the week off.

  • Going off projections, DITKA have one of the most daunting schedules early on in Hiawatha Elite League with a first-half strength of schedule that ranks as the 2nd-most difficult. In spite of that, for the season as a whole, DITKA should expect a pretty fair schedule rated as the 6th toughest.

  • DITKA are leading the youth movement, assembling a roster with an average of 3.8 years of NFL experience, ranking as the 2nd-youngest group in the league. Demonstrating their commitment to youth, they selected one rookie (Devin Singletary). In total, there were 12 rookies selected over the course of the Hiawatha Elite League draft.

  • We've heard of Stars-and-Scrubs, but is there such a thing as Scrubs-and-Scrubs? The top players from each position on DITKA, collectively, are forecasted to score the 3rd-fewest points in the league. Unfortunately, the rest of the roster isn't much better, as those players are predicted to put up a point total ranking in the middle of the pack.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
