George's Grand Team
Hey, we'll definitely take the win, George's Grand Team! Having said that, if we want to ramp our performance up to the next level, then we have found an area to improve; our starting QB was clearly outmatched this past week. Lamar Jackson went 24-of-37 for 272 yards and two touchdowns for Hey Darnold, and all Baker Mayfield could manage through the air was 325 yards and one passing TD (plus an ugly interception). Let's put some more effort into scouting those upcoming defenses!
Hey Darnold
Unless Hey Darnold wants to go full diva-mode, then "not getting enough chances" isn't really a valid excuse this week. As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR and one TE) combined to get a respectable 37 targets in Week 2. With just 21 total catches, that group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
