socioPathogens succumb to Nefarious Pilchers in 172.25-107.08 rout
There's no easy way to say it, socioPathogens underdelivered, at least compared to projections, as Nefarious Pilchers cruised to a 172.25-107.08 win. Nefarious Pilchers never trailed in this one after nabbing a 20.25-point lead on Saturday behind O.J. Howard (9.33 points) and Greg Zuerlein (7). Ezekiel Elliott (47 Rush Yds, 37 Rec Yds) and Mark Andrews (6 Rec, 93 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) carried the flag for socioPathogens in the loss. This marks the first time this season Nefarious Pilchers have knocked off socioPathogens, after falling 145.92-82.97 in their last matchup. Nefarious Pilchers improve to 8-8 for the season, while socioPathogens fall to 12-4.
While running for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Vikings, Jones scored 40.4 points this week. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 20.07-point projection and was much higher than his 23.24-point season scoring average. Jones ranks #11 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Lions next week.

Nefarious Pilchers
This sport is all about exploiting the mismatches. With stout performances by Saquon Barkley and Aaron Jones, our team definitely took that to heart this past week. We doubled socioPathogens up at the running back position (102.8 points to 42.28). Barkley had 279 total yards and two TDs, while Jones logged 160 yards and two scores.

Welp, we can't really whine about a shortage of opportunities this week, can we? Our pass-catching corps (two WR and one TE) were targeted a grand total of 25 times in Week 16. Chemistry and timing appear to be issues as that group hauled in only 12 balls.
