Back-and-forth battle ends with Beer Pressure coming back to defeat Easy Mode, 140.59-128.19
What a whirlwind! After a back-and-forth matchup featuring three lead changes, Beer Pressure earned a come-from-behind win over Easy Mode, staging an impressive comeback for a 140.59-128.19 victory. Trailing 124.49-117.29 heading into Monday night, Beer Pressure came storming back behind Josh Jacobs (85 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 28 Rec Yds). Mark Ingram II (107 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) and Dalvin Cook (111 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) did their part for Easy Mode in defeat. Beer Pressure (1-0) will look to maintain their momentum against WHO DAT?, while Easy Mode (0-1) take on Rookie Mistakes in an effort to get back on track.
Projected to score 7.83 points, Engram more-than-doubled that amount by scoring 18.6 points as the Giants lost to the Cowboys 35-17. He caught 11 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Beer Pressure this week. In Week 2, Engram and the Giants will face the Bills.

Beer Pressure
Getting the win is most important, Beer Pressure, but we've also identified one spot where we can improve as a team... our starting wide receivers were severely outplayed this past week. Tyreek Hill (16 total yards, no TDs) and Robert Woods (70 yards, no TDs) combined for just 10.7 points in Week 1. For Easy Mode, Chris Godwin and Keenan Allen almost tripled us up with a score of 30.6. Let's bug the QB to get some more targets in Week 2!
Easy Mode
Keep your head held high, Easy Mode! You can take solace in the fact that your kindness this week did not go unnoticed. It was generous of you to help someone like Beer Pressure succeed... and perhaps one day, they can return the favor by going Kicker-Defense in the first two rounds of next year's draft (...something like that).
