Hybrids come back to hand FIRSTorLAST seventh consecutive loss, 187.00-136.25
Hybrids came back for a 187.00-136.25 victory to hand FIRSTorLAST their seventh consecutive loss. Hybrids trailed 136.25-113.75 heading into Sunday night, but the team roared back behind Keenan Allen (14 Rec, 148 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and James Conner (60 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 14 Rec Yds). Dalvin Cook (24.25 points) and Lamar Jackson (23.25) led the charge for FIRSTorLAST in defeat. This marks the second time this season Hybrids have gotten the best of FIRSTorLAST, after winning 169-145 in their last matchup. Hybrids ends the season on a high note, but they'll miss the postseason with a record of 5-8. FIRSTorLAST will also be home for the playoffs, finishing at 4-9.
While catching 14 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers, Allen scored 46 points this week. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 21.56-point projection and was much higher than his 20.19-point season scoring average. Allen ranks #43 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Bengals next week.
Thursday
Dak Prescott had a 40-yard pass for FIRSTorLAST, helping FIRSTorLAST to a 33.75-0.00 lead.
Sunday Early
Both teams had players with big-time plays early Sunday, but it was FIRSTorLAST who emerged with the lead, 104.50-90.75. For Hybrids, Case Keenum had a 30-yard touchdown pass. Odell Beckham Jr. made the highlight reel for FIRSTorLAST with a 49-yard touchdown pass.
Hybrids
Well, we do appreciate the confidence this past week, Hybrids. It takes a certain sort of gumption to deploy a starter with zero points (Trey Burton), while still earning a win. All we ask is to please keep that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the regular season. Try it when the postseason rolls around, and we're done.
FIRSTorLAST
FIRSTorLAST will find it tough to complain about lack of opportunity this past week. As a group, our pass-catching corps (four WR, one TE) combined to see a healthy 36 targets in Week 13. Chemistry and timing seem to be issues as that group managed just 17 catches.
