Owen Sixteen find way to top WannaBes 83.20-69.86 despite falling short of projections

Both teams failed to bring their A game, but Owen Sixteen did enough to take down WannaBes, coming out on top with a 83.20-69.86 victory. WannaBes jumped out to a 25.96-point lead on Saturday behind outstanding showings from Deshaun Watson, who passed for 294 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 26 yards for 22.36 points, and Phillip Lindsay, who racked up 44 yards from scrimmage (4.4 points). But Owen Sixteen held the lead the rest of the way, powered by David Johnson (16.1 points) and Kenny Golladay (15.6). This marks the second time this season Owen Sixteen have gotten the best of WannaBes, after winning 140.2-84.1 in their last matchup. Owen Sixteen (9-6) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs. WannaBes will be home for the playoffs, finishing the season at 6-9.
