Toxins defy projections, knock off Captain Hindsight in 99.62-72.72 rout

Toxins brought their A game and exceeded expectations, cruising to a 99.62-72.72 victory over Captain Hindsight, who fell short of projections. Toxins grabbed a 22.52-point lead on Thursday behind Philip Rivers, who passed for 313 yards and 2 touchdowns. Captain Hindsight bounced back to take the lead on Saturday, powered by Baker Mayfield (13.12 points) and Nick Chubb (11). Not to be deterred, Toxins rallied later that afternoon, as Joe Mixon (26 points) and Evan Engram (7.5) put them back in the lead once and for all. This marks the first time this season Toxins have gotten the best of Captain Hindsight, after falling 100.72-66.98 in their last matchup. Toxins ends the season on a high note, but they'll miss the postseason with a record of 3-12. Captain Hindsight (9-6) will attempt to bounce back from this loss in the playoffs.

Coach Talk

Toxins
We do appreciate the confidence this past week, Toxins. It takes real moxie to play a player with zero points (Devonta Freeman), while still getting the W. Try those shenanigans next week and see what happens!
Captain Hindsight
Unless Captain Hindsight wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing enough chances" doesn't fly as an excuse this time around. As a group, our trio of pass-catchers (two WR and one TE) were targeted a grand total of 14 times in Week 15. Those players might need to spend more time with the JUGS machine, considering they pulled down only seven receptions.
