FRANCHISE fall short of projections, lose to BP, 107.23-99.83
There's no easy way to say it, FRANCHISE didn't do their job, at least based on projections, as BP earned a 107.23-99.83 victory. FRANCHISE jumped out to a 10-point lead on Thursday, but BP held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Russell Wilson (298 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs) and Melvin Gordon III (64 Rush Yds, 102 Rec Yds), while Joe Mixon (23.4 points) and Kirk Cousins (22.73) did their part for FRANCHISE in the loss. BP improve to 1-0 on the season, while FRANCHISE fall to 0-1.
Lockett caught 3 passes for 59 yards and a touchdown as the Seahawks lost to the Broncos 27-24. In doing so, he put up 13.4 points to scored 33.3% higher than his 10.05-point projection, the highest percentage of any player on BP this week. Next week, Lockett will square off against the Bears.
Sunday Early
Both teams had multiple players with standout moments early Sunday, but it was BP who claimed the lead, 107.23-78.23. Russell Wilson teamed up with Tyler Lockett for a 51-yard touchdown pass for BP. Wilson also lit up the scoreboard with a 20-yard touchdown pass and a 66-yard pass. Meanwhile, Kirk Cousins had a 22-yard touchdown pass for FRANCHISE, while JuJu Smith-Schuster had a 67-yard catch.
