SPARK find way to top ACL Tech in 108.18-80.08 rout

Both teams failed to bring their A game, but SPARK did enough to get the best of ACL Tech, rolling to a 108.18-80.08 win. ACL Tech jumped out to a 16.20-point lead on Thursday behind stellar showings from Dion Lewis (10.2 points) and Ryan Succop (6). But it was all SPARK after that. They were led by Michael Thomas (20.8 points) and the Chicago Bears defense (20). This marks the first time this season SPARK have taken down ACL Tech, after falling 125.96-96.28 in their last matchup. SPARK improve to 7-7 for the season, while ACL Tech fall to 6-8.

Inside the Matchup

Matchup Player of the Week

While allowing only 6 points, surrendering 214 yards, and intercepting 4 passes against the Rams, the Bears defense put up 20 points this week. Their scoring output more-than-tripled their 6.41-point projection and was much higher than their 11.54-point season scoring average. The Bears defense ranks #60 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Packers next week.

Coach Talk

SPARK
Hey SPARK, the good news is that we took this matchup by over 28 points. The better news is that we've proven we're even stronger than this... as a matter of fact, our team's scoring average through 13 weeks was 110.9. So yes, we're happy to have earned this victory, but let's also "regress" back up to where we know we can be!
ACL Tech
Whoa now, talk about under-utilized: As a group, the starting backfield for ACL Tech collectively logged just five targets this past week. Tell those quarterbacks to dump it down a little more often in Week 15!
