Doobrees fall short of expectations, still manage to beat JJ What, 81.22-73.76

Both teams fell short of their projected point totals, but Doobrees did enough to take down JJ What. Predicted to win 107.32-100.22, Doobrees earned a 81.22-73.76 victory over JJ What. Doobrees jumped out to a 36.06-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind impressive performances from Christian McCaffrey (22.1 points) and Davante Adams (15.3) and never looked back. Deshaun Watson (224 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 30 Rush Yds) and Harrison Butker (2-2 FG, 50 long, 4-5 XP) led the charge for JJ What in the loss. This marks the first time this season Doobrees have gotten the best of JJ What, after falling 111-82.66 in their last matchup. Doobrees (6-7) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs, while JJ What (8-5) will attempt to bounce back and make a run of their own in the postseason.

Coach Talk

Doobrees
Listen Doobrees, we're "glass half full" kind of coaches. While others may harp on the fact that our scoring output has declined a bit recently, we'll choose to spin this in a positive direction. Averaging 96.65 points through Week 12, our crew has certainly proven that it's even stronger than the 81.22 we needed for this past week's win!
JJ What
Welp, we certainly can't complain about a lack of opportunities this time, can we? As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR, one TE) were targeted a whopping 34 times in Week 13. With just 16 total receptions, that group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
