Coach Talk

Doobrees
You know, the key to football is spotting and exploiting the mismatches. With some stellar yardage production from our running backs, our team certainly made that happen this week. Our three backfield starters recorded 210 more total yards than the RBs of Q (395 yards from scrimmage to 185), and we wound up nearly quadrupling them at the position, 69.5 points to 18.5.

Here's a list of scenarios where it's excusable to go 0-for-2 in sports: A hitter's line in baseball, a pair of Dwight Howard free throws, and a double-fault in tennis. That's basically it. Going 0-for-2 on field goal attempts this past week? Sounds like Cody Parkey might be kicking himself back into the free agent pool after this effort.
