Liams Dream Team ;) can blame their below-average draft position as an excuse for putting together a mediocre team after drafting in the bottom half of the first round (No. 8 overall). With a projected record of 5-8 (1,381 points), this team won't worry anyone. Liams Dream Team ;) are predicted to finish 9th in Hiawatha Elite League.
- Minnesota
You Lead, They Follow: With only one defense off the board, Liams Dream Team ;) saw a run and jumped in early, taking the Vikings with the 5th pick of the 10th round. Four more defensive units went off the board in the ensuing round. Following a season in which the unit earned 117 fantasy points, Minnesota is projected to score 130 fantasy points this season.
- Jordan Wilkins
Going out on a Limb: You know at airport security when they ask if your bags have been with you at all times? We have the same question about your draft. Or at least we're questioning why you would select Wilkins in the 7th round, about four rounds earlier than his ADP of 130. Perhaps you're onto something, though. Wilkins is projected to score 82 fantasy points this season with the Colts. Wilkins will slot in as the No. 3 RB for Liams Dream Team ;), according to projected points.
Draft Notes
-
Liams Dream Team ;) went particularly light at running back, drafting fewer than any team in the league with only three, trailing the league average of 4.8.
-
The early bird gets the worm. You got out in front of your opponents at quarterback, drafting Deshaun Watson (No. 8 overall) as the first QB off the board. You demonstrated more patience at running back, becoming the last owner in the league to draft a RB with the selection of Tevin Coleman (No. 65 overall).
-
Liams Dream Team ;) are in for a rude awakening in Week 9 when they have five players on a bye (Blake Bortles, Marqise Lee, John Ross, Jordan Wilkins, and Tyler Eifert). Zack's Team, your Week 9 opponent, won't be quite as hamstrung with only one player (Jack Doyle) on the sideline.
-
Based on projections, Liams Dream Team ;) have a fairly balanced path in Hiawatha Elite League this season with a strength of schedule ranked middle-of-the-pack.

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
