Layne Ducks fall short of expectations, succumb to Wide Left in 113.42-84.68 rout

There's no easy way to say it, Layne Ducks underdelivered, at least compared to projections, as Wide Left rolled to a 113.42-84.68 victory. Wide Left pulled out to an early 6.00-point lead on Thursday. Layne Ducks came back to take the lead during the early slate on Sunday, powered by Cam Newton (25.48 points) and Adrian Peterson (17.1). Unphased, Wide Left got it going on Monday night with their back against the wall, as Jared Goff (35.12 points) and Todd Gurley II (9.4) put them back in the lead for good. Wide Left (6-5) will look to keep it rolling against Grounds Game Keeper, while Layne Ducks (5-6) will attempt to get back in the win column against DITKA.

Coach Talk

Wide Left
Well done, Wide Left. Putting together a team that won by a whopping 28.74 points this past matchup... we'll take this victory in stride, tip our cap to the GM of Layne Ducks, and continue our march towards the Hiawatha Premier League title.
Layne Ducks
There's a possibility that Layne Ducks could be a better talent scout in the NFL than in fantasy football. Seeing only 10 total targets in Week 11, their three starting pass-catchers (two WR, one TE) apparently helped their teams' causes by running decoy routes and blocking downfield.
