Fantastic Mr. Fox come up short of projections, lose to Unstoppable, 96.04-88.60
Fantastic Mr. Fox failed to bring their A game, as Unstoppable came out on top with a 96.04-88.60 victory. Fantastic Mr. Fox grabbed a 24.00-point lead on Thursday behind 24.8 points from Russell Wilson (225 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 17 Rush Yds) and Tyler Lockett (5 Rec, 71 Rec Yds). But Unstoppable held the lead the rest of the way, powered by Saquon Barkley, who ran for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns for 33.2 points, and Mike Evans, who caught 6 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown (24 points). Unstoppable improve to 6-5 on the season, while Fantastic Mr. Fox fall to 7-4.
Evans overachieved for the fifth time this season, scoring 24 points against his 12.02-point projection. During a 38-35 loss to the Giants, he caught 6 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. Evans ranks #39 among all fantasy players this season and will face the 49ers next week.
Sunday Early
There were players with standout plays for both teams early Sunday, but it was Unstoppable who emerged with the lead, 79.30-44.70. For Unstoppable, Mike Evans had a 41-yard touchdown catch. Justin Tucker made the highlight reel for Fantastic Mr. Fox with a 56-yard field goal.
Sunday Late
David Johnson had a 53-yard run for Fantastic Mr. Fox, who trailed 95.14-60.10 after the late afternoon action.
Monday
Kareem Hunt had a 21-yard touchdown catch for Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Unstoppable
Nice job assembling a lineup that earned more than 96 points this past week. We deem that to be a job well done. We should keep this momentum going as we move on to our next challenge in Week 12.
Fantastic Mr. Fox
Hey, Fantastic Mr. Fox, what'd your pass-catchers do to annoy their quarterbacks this week? Accumulating just 11 targets combined this past week, our starting receiver crew (two WR, one TE) clearly got on the bad side of their respective QBs.
