Year four of a DYNASTY league.
2015 Winner: Gary E
2016 Winner: Daryl McLeese
2017 Winner: Daryl McLeese
This is a 12 TEAM DYNASTY LEAGUE.
We will keep 15 players each year. There are 21 roster spots, and two IR’s, so we will draft approximately six more players each year (after the initial year) composed of rookies and whoever is left and not kept on a roster.
After initial year, each year will be a normal snake round and should be rather short at only six or seven rounds or so.
Trade review: Most trades will be sent through without issue. The only reason a trade would be vetoed, is if a team was trying to dump players or something fishy was going on. There is a trade review of one day so if trades are left open they can't be sent through an hour before the games and leave one manager with holes in lineup.
Draft picks may be traded throughout the season and during the offseason. During the season they will be traded through the trading system, and must also be posted on the message boards if a draft pick is involved. If it happens during the offseason it must be emailed to the commissioner and both parties must confirm the trade. The trade will also need to be posted to the message boards by one of the trading parties as soon as the season starts. You will need to trade an equal number of picks. For example if you trade a player for another teams first round pick you must include a pick from your team. Please try and not trade anything LATER than a 7th round pick, as we will only draft about 7 rounds so anything later than that will have to be converted to a 6th or 7th or something.
League Fee is $60 ($55 toward regular payouts and $5 for side pot incentive)
INCENTIVE-$60 this year will go toward this pot. The pot will keep rising, and in order to win this side pot, the winner will have to win THREE championships in this league.
The pay outs for 2018 are:
1st place championship-250
2nd place championship-125
3rd place championship-100
1st place division 1 for season-50
1st place division 2 for season-50
Highest Point Total-50
toilet bowl champion-35
Total side pot for year to go in pot ($60)
Total payouts for year: ($660)
Playoffs will be six team playoff.
Draft Order is determined by the previous year’s Toilet Bowl finish for the 1st six picks, followed by reverse order of overall standings for picks seven through twelve.
The toilet bowl will be played by the six teams that do not make the playoffs. This will be the consolation bracket. The Toilet Bowl matchups in week 1 are Team 7 vs team 12, team 8 vs team 11, and team 9 and 10. The results of the toilet bowl will determine the 1-6 draft order next year, with the winner getting the 1 pick, loser getting 6 pick, etc. Therefore, It is recommended to fight through the last few games.
Draft Order is determined by the previous year’s Toilet Bowl finish for the 1st four picks, followed by reverse order of overall standings for picks five through twelve.
If a manager leaves the league, the REPLACEMENT manager’s draft order will be AFTER all of the remaining managers in the league.
The toilet bowl will be played by the four teams that do not make the playoffs. The results of the toilet bowl will determine the 1-4 draft order next year.
Tiebreaks for point totals will be head to head matchup. Tiebreaks for overall season leader will be point total, and then head to head.
Fair Play:
We have had some issues in the past with managers failing to fill roster spots for games. I understand how things get busy sometimes and a player with a bye stays in or someone gets left on the bench from time to time. I belong to several leagues myself and have had difficulty keeping up sometimes.
Also, sometimes managers make stupid moves and there is not a hard and f
